Pexels- FREE Unique Stock Photos

Image
Bricole Reincke is a creative professional, who has completed many courses in graphic design, raves about the site Pexels What is Pexels and how does Pexels work? Pexels is a free stock photo and video website and app that helps designers, bloggers, and everyone who is looking for visuals to find great photos and videos that can be downloaded and used for free. If you see a photo or video you like, simply download it for free (no strings attached!). If you'd like to contribute your work to Pexels, we accept photos and videos from everyone. "As a graphic designer you are always looking for unique images, so the fact that users upload their pictures makes these photos gems. So many designers use sites like iStock Photo or Getty Images , which don't get me wrong, are great quality and offer many royalty-free options. But the digital presence of businesses start to look homogenized because we were all fishing out of the same pond. I encourage anyone that is looking for unique...

My New Toy- The Revolution Balance Board

Image
Bricole Reincke may not be Tony Hawk, but with this skateboard like trainer he better watch out! But in all seriousness, the Revolution Balance Board is a really innovative way to work on your balance and core strength.  "Horseback Riding is all about balance," says Bricole Reincke, "I feel like it keeps me more centered over the horse in my stirrups when I am posting." You can purchase a board here-  https://revbalance.com/balance-boards/ How did this board come about? Here is an excerpt from the Revolution Balance Board Website-  https://revbalance.com/about-us .  OUR STORY:   Boardsports have always been a lifelong passion of mine, and they continue to inspire me every day. Growing up in North Carolina, I spent many hours practicing, failing at, and attempting to master many different sports. I was, and still am, addicted to the creative outlet, and the challenge of always trying to progress to the next level.  My passion for boardsports quickly turned i...

Birthday Bash was a Smash!

Image
Did you know that they actually have places where you can pay to literally throw TVs, smash bottles into broken glass, bend and bang metal signs and so much more?  It's called the Smashit House Bricole Reincke, from Southwest Ranches, and her close friend celebrate their 39th birthdays with a bash! Yes, they smashed TVs, bottles, signs and more with a sledgehammer, crowbar other tools in the room. What a way to celebrate! Watch the video of Bricole Reincke and here:

Bricole Reincke Backyard Chickens- April Month in Pictures

Image
What came first the Chickens or the Egg? Bricole Reincke's favorite meal of the day is breakfast! Come to think about it, maybe that's why I have backyard chickens. The yolks of the eggs are so much more orange and have a rich flavor that cannot be beat. Look at my face in the picture below...the breakfast from this fancy restaurant obviously isn't made from farm fresh eggs or why would I be making this face? Pictured above: Bricole Reincke at breakfast in Detroit, Michigan I first decided to get backyard chickens when I moved just outside of Southwest Ranches. We are one of the only areas in Broward County that allows livestock.  Staring out with baby chicks is not as easy as you think it would be. Although they are cute, they spill their water and food constantly, you need to keep a heat-lamp on them and they poop everywhere! However, the process of raising a chick to a full grown chicken is amazing to watch. If you have children, it is a must! Once we got the hang of it...

March was all about Animals!

Image
Miniature Aussies, Backyard Chickens and a Horse...OH MY! When I told you I was an Animal Fanatic and I wasn't kidding! They are pretty much my life. March was filled with lots of animal love. Miniature Australian Shepherds Bricole Reincke would be lost without her two  sidekicks, Jack (Black-Tri) and Hazel (Red-Tri) . They pretty much go with her everywhere, as they are registered as emotional therapy dogs. Many people think that the title of emotional therapy dog is a hoax, but they really do provide all the joy in the world for Bricole and her husband. Who would smile watching these two knuckle heads?! Mini Aussies, Jack and Hazel, waiting for cat treats Mini Aussies paying fetch Backyard Chickens Bricole Reincke has 30 backyard chickens clucking away in her backyard. There are 27 egg-laying hens and 3 roosters. The rooster were supposed to be hens, but you never know when you start with pullets. Chickens are such a hoot. They love to take dirt baths and they pretty much eat a...

Miniature Australian Shepherd Party! February Adventures

Image
Meet Hazel and Jack my two Mini Aussies!  They are the best doggies a girl could ask for. They go with us everywhere.  To start the day off Matt and I went to the Yellow Green Farmers Market with our two Miniature Australian Shepherds . And they joined us at the Yellow Green Farmers Market in Hollywood, FL. If you haven't been here, it's such a cool place. They have so many food options to choose from!  As you can see here, they went with Matt to the Pub, where he met Troy, who works with us at Interactive Metronome.  This is Hazel lounging with me on the couch in Southwest Ranches, Florida. Hazel and Jack are the best of friends and can never be separated. They don't mind being dressed up in sweaters! And we live right outside of Southwest Ranches, Florida, where it's hot!  Hazel is such a ham for the cam!  Check out these cute pictures of Mini Aussies on my Pinterest Page . They go with us to horse shows too! Be sure to check out my Equestrian  site...

February 2020- Month in Pictures Part 1: Shop till you drop

Image
I fell in love with Louie in February!  I must start off by saying that I have the best hubby ever. Who actually has a husband that enjoys to shop? I haven't met many, but Matt truly has the shopping gene. He actually throws clothes over the dressing room door for me to try on! And he even gives me authentic feedback on how I look in the tried-on threads. What a great man! To celebrate Valentines Day we went to the Aventura Mall in North Miami Beach. I was searching for the perfect "catch-all" purse. And Louis Vuitton had just the one. It's called the Neverfull , which somehow I do seem to fill up. The Neverfull has now become my staple purse. In fact, in the Louie line-up, it is probably the best bang for your buck. It comes with a nice clutch as well as the main purse. I certainly will never be full of Louie or Matt!  Footer Links Bricole Reincke has more sites, check them out here: Creative Equestrian Career Or socialize with Bricole Reincke online:  LinkedIn Medi...

January 2020- Bricole's Month in Pictures

Image
The first month of the 2020 started out with some fun in the sun on Hollywood Beach, Florida . My husband and I hadn't been in months. We live in Southwest Ranches, which is about 20 minutes from the beach. I don't know why we don't go more often. The funny thing is, we vow we will go more often after having a perfect day breathing in the ocean air and never do. I guess you just take things for granted that are in your backyard. Our beach days start in Dania Beach, where we park the track and ride our bikes to the boardwalk. We usually ride to the local pizza joint, Rocco's Pizza , and enjoy a delicious slice of New York style pie. I am a bit of a plain Jane when it comes to pizza and prefer cheese. It was actually warm enough to go in the water that day, which usually isn't the case in January. Heritage Horse Show I compete on my horse Henry, his show name is Over the Moon, in the Low-Hunter class under my trainer Nancy Unger-Fink, who owns Condee Farm. Henry is a ...

Bricole Reincke's Photo Blog Journey Begins!

Image
A Decision to Post Each Month In Pictures for the Year of 2020 It occurred to me, Bricole Reincke , that I take so many pictures and rarely share them with my family and friends unless it is on social media. Be prepared to see pictures of my Miniature Australian Shepherds- Hazel & Jack, my Horse- Henry, my Arts & Crafts (I consider myself somewhat of a creative), my Cooking Madness (I am a Foodie!) and way too many selfies! Bee Happy!  What a cool modern wall. I don't share too much because I know that my followers don't want to see a million pictures of my dogs or pictures of the food I have made. I feel like your content is over-filling the feed and then your friends will lose interest in your story because of the overing sharing. However, I do feel it's important for me to log these photo memories in somewhat of a historical tracking kind of way. So...drumroll please... I've decided to post a month in review of the pictures I have taken along wit...

Halloween Horse Costume- Henry the Bee- Made by Bricole Reincke

Image
Hey there! My name is Bricole Reincke and I live in Southwest Ranches, where my horse is boarded at Condee Farm . I'm finally going through my enormous photo library and starting to catalog them in my blog page. These pictures are from the Condee Farm Halloween Show 2019. Henry and I were a sight to "bee" seen and we won best costume! As you scroll down the page you will see how simple (not to mention, how cost-efficient) the costume was to make. I included the supplies that you will need at the bottom of this post. Henry is a 16.2 hand Westphalian Warmblood horse and is a handful! He has such a sweet demeanor and actually loves being dressed up. One of the Moms at the show was kind enough to take lots of photos and share them. Henry is a Stunning 16.2 Westphalian Horse. I'm SOOO Lucky :)  Posing for another perfect picture :) The costume for Henry was really simple and easy to make. The materials that I used to make the body: Yellow Saddle Pad w...
